New Targeted Therapies Tutorial Launches on NCI Website

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

A new animated tutorial developed by Medicom Digital for the National Cancer Institute (NCI) is now available on Cancer.gov. This hour long tutorial provides an extensive visual overview of targeted therapies and how they work. It will offer physicians who treat patients with life-threatening cancers a comprehensive tool to educate them on these ground-breaking new therapies.

In addition to the Overview module that launched this week, we are currently working with the NCI to develop additional modules specifically addressing targeted therapies for breast, multiple myeloma, lymphoma, lung, and colon cancers. If you are interested in funding one of these modules or a module for another cancer type, please contact us.

In addition to 3D animations, video, voiceover, and text, the Medicom Digital’s new tutorial engine features hierarchical navigation, searching, bookmarking, quizzes and more. We will be posting more information about our new tutorial engine in the coming days.
