Kevin Fitzpatrick, Chief Sales Officer

Kevin Fitzpatrick is President and one of the co-founders of Medicom Digital. Kevin is directly responsible for oversight of the sales and marketing divisions in addition to his main role as the President. Kevin completed his MBA at the College of St. Thomas, and specializes in medical science, marketing, and education. As a former top national sales representative in the medical industry, Kevin has helped develop more than 400 different marketing tools and economic models that have been used across the country over the last 16 years. Kevin also has helped conceptualize hundreds of educational and sales tools centered on disease management and progression, health economics, and disease outcomes. Kevin is also an active member of LifeScience Alley, Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Centennial Basketball Association and local soccer associations. A native of Minnesota, Kevin, his wife, Pamela and four children live in Lino Lakes.



Barbara Goergen, Chief Health Education Officer

Barb Goergen is Executive Vice President and one of the co-founders of Medicom Digital. In her role as Chief Health Education Officer, Barb oversees research and instructional design activities. She assures that all of Medicom Digital programs are scientifically accurate and referenced, and that the information architecture and health literacy of the content are optimized for the best user experience. Barb has over 30 years of experience in developing medical and health education. Prior to founding Medicom Digital, Barb worked for the American Red Cross in Madison, Wisconsin and directed the post-graduate School of Blood Bank Technology and the Data Processing Department. For the past 16 years she has participated in the development of many innovative medical and health software programs, including the award-winning Cycles of Sleeping and Waking with the Doze Family for the National Sleep Foundation. Barb is an active member of LifeScience Alley and is on the board of directors for the Minnesota Chapter of Achievement Rewards for Collegiate Scientists. She has a B.S. degree in Medical Technology from the University of Michigan.



James (Tony) Huth, Chief Creative Officer

J. Anthony (Tony) Huth is Executive Vice President and one of the co-founders of Medicom Digital. Tony, in his role as Chief Creative Officer, oversees the art development, layout, and information architecture of Medicom Digital's award-winning programs. Tony has over 16 years of experience designing and creating innovative interactive multimedia programs. He has a high attention to detail and provides the creative spark that makes our programs outstanding. Prior to joining Medicom Digital, he worked for a service bureau and helped organize that company's multimedia department. Tony lives with his wife and young daughter in St. Paul. He received a B.A. degree in Studio Arts from Augsburg College in Minneapolis.



John Goergen, Chief Financial Officer

John Goergen joined Medicom Digital, Inc. in 2001 as its Chief Financial Officer. In that role he manages all aspects of the firm's accounting, contract, and human relations activities. He also develops interactive economic analysis programs for both clients and internal use. In addition, John is the Senior Project Manager and handles work scheduling, project tracking, oversight of communications with clients, and final testing. Prior to joining MDI, John worked as an Information Technology developer, consultant and trainer on groupware and communications software and as a large systems specialist for IBM and other IT industry leaders. He has almost 30 years of experience in financial and project management in the IT industry, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). John is a member of the Project Management Institute, PMI Minnesota, and the PMI Information Systems Special Interest Group. He has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.



Corey Maul, Chief Technology Officer

Corey Maul joined Medicom Digital in 2006 originally as the IT Manager. He has quickly worked his way up to the position of Chief Technology Officer over the last 3 years. In his current role, he manages all technology aspects of company operations, including the development staff, IT operations, and sets technology direction for the company. Prior to joining Medicom Digital, Corey worked for Washington University in St. Louis, where he founded a student technology training program that taught undergraduate students technology skills as a complement to their existing degree program. He grew the program from an inaugural size of 35 to over 120 students in a period of 3 years and oversaw the development of 90 different seminar-style technology courses on a wide range of topics. Corey has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently working on a MBA through a part-time program at the Carlson School of Management. He is also an active member of the Twin Cities Google Technology User Group and the MN.swf group. When Corey isn't in the office (or at school), he's often been seen around Uptown in Minneapolis or biking around town (at least when it's not snowing.)
